I recently purchased a samsung ue60f6100.

The firmware for the TV is:
T-NVTF6DEUC-1019.0

I stumbled across this forum as I wanted to have the latest software as found on the newer Samsung TV's such as DLNA, Android Apps, BBC Iplayer, Netflix etc and Smart functions. But I want to keep the same menu functions for calibration etc

Is there a SamyGo firmware for us F series users which will allow us to upgrade?

I did look on the Wiki but could not find a match with my firmware.

Would I be able to install the firmware from a latest F series TV instead?

I would love confirmation before I try in case I brick the TV.

Or are there safe guards in place preventing you from using the latest F series firmware from the F8000 or F8500 series

SamyGO is not firmware, it is some kind of add-ons for original firmware.

Here is no SamyGO for F series yet.
