Okey but here is not good forum for requesting support. It's already mentioned on forum entrance.
Moved to support forum.

Answer of your question is dump your alternative flash partition to USB driver and inspect it under hex editor (of mine).
Wiki has some articles that explains manually dumping flash. You only needed to DUMP flash area, NOT write. You needed to use alternative flash region. You can find via in couple trying...

Also you don't needed to write exact version. Only compatible format of previous firmware is enough. Once you reverted back, you can also reflash older version to make string proper. :)
Thanks.

I just update wiki page about enabling telnet http://wiki.samygo.tv/index.php?title=F ... r_firmware.
There is now special Telnet Enabler Trojan, so no need download any game or samsung content.
It works on new buy B series TV too.

I have managed to get telent enabled as per your instruction and so far managed to get this response

localhost login: root
-sh: id: not found
# cd mtd_rwarea/
# ls -1 Version.*
Version.1
# cat Version.1
SWU_T-CHU7DEUC_003001_I02_EK000DK000_100125
#

I am not a linux user and have very limited knowledge. My only attempt at this sort of thin was putting unslung into my NSLU2 to link to my Topfield PVR.
I'm pretty sure I cat get my TV back to old firmware but need a point in the right direction in the form of more specific instuctions IE more of an idiots guide

I've gone into wiki to find how to dump the firmware but the instructions are beyond my understanding. I know I need to dump the alternative flash region to a usb port then inspect it but where exactly is the alternative partition held and what is it called.

If you could provide info on how to do this it would be kindly appreciated.
i'll prepare instructions, but i need some time.

Are these cable bespoke or are they a standard pin out. I see rapidrun cables here in the UK.
Will these cables work? Here's a link from Dell for this type of cable.

if not, where can I purchase a samsung cable in the UK at a reasonable price.
