Hi all, this is my first post here.
I bought a 46ES6100 last week, and I couldn't find my country among the one listed.
I read around the internet about the possibility to change the local set, but I can't use ruSamsungTVCommunicator because I have 1036 firmware.
Which other way could I use to send the special 'factory' and '3speed' code? I read a little about the dual led IR transmitter: is it dangerous for my TV? Are there any other safer ways?

you have to build IR transmitter (or buy samsung service remote).

How dangerous it is? You can brick TV if you do something wrong in service menu.

I read a lot about these IR transmitter.
I read also about sending codes by Lirc and WinLirc, but the laptop I tested with couldn't send anything (since nothing happened).
I think I will build my own IR transmitter...is it the dual led the one you are talking about?
