Update done.
Manual hack fully working.
Pvr internet@tv still enabled (work as on other firmware version).
rstvc working.
restriction are the same of previous fw (3009,3011,3015,3017.1)
It seems that this update fix a known bug when switch channels.
Nothing so new.
happy safely updating.

Same as previous firmware (3015,3017.1,3018.1)
The pvr start but generates only invalid srf of 0kb

what error did you get?
You can downgrade with manual way or with partition swap.
if you have telnet access in your tv

then

(this can be version0 or version1)
then edit the file that you find (Version0 or version1)

accordingly to file that you find version0 or version1
Now in menu of the tv the grayed out "Software Update" became white and you can flash every firmware you want.

Yes the reset 0000 firmware DOESN'T work anymore.
And plus i have this issue now with the 3018 firmware

ok. so just to be sure:

means Hotel Mode is working?
I want to update my rooted 300x and I guess, I'm losing root after upgrade.

I mean the hack over symlinks, not the one done with universal usb hack disk.
this hack is permanently even if you do a factory reset.
you lost it only if you format the mtd_rwarea partitons through topdebugmenu over exlink port.
so no problem if you update.
the pvr stay active if you have change the model code on service menu because the tv is updated as the model stated in the service menu.
