I have a PS64D8000FS (type PS64D8000, model number PS64D8000FSXXH), bought in Estonia. Is is possible by either SW or a smallish HW change to enable DVB-T2? I see the UK version for instance has ?DTV Reception DVB-T2 / C / S2?, mine has ?DTV Reception DVB-T / C / S2?. I would like to get DVB-T2 programs too without an extra tuner.

I bought it in mid-2012 and it was sitting in a box until now when I finally moved in to my new house.

Any concentrated links on what else to set up/calibrate/tune that are a must with this TV?

just only if you swap mainboard from UK tv model with dvb-t2 support.

Is the MB really different? Cost is smth I do not want to know?

I managed to find the US spec Samsung PN64D8000FF Main Unit / Input Board to be with a code BN94-04402V (sold on ebay for 50-100USD).
I can clearly see the tuner on the board, with a sticker on it DTVS20FVH083A -- BN40-00208A -- 110415 VACH

Any chance someone can identify the same info for the DVB-T2 enabled model or just tell me the UK version full model code.
I wonder if there is really anything different than the tuner part+ maybe software....

Just for info, here is a UK spec 51" main board for SAMSUNG PS51D8000FUXXU, unfortunately the label on the tuner module is not readable.

Can somebody confirm is the main board only difference in the UK spec PS64D8000 hardware? Is the main logic board the same for all PS64D8000-s? Where does the TV keep its software? I am trying to figure out if swapping the main board and/or login main board only will also bring me the necessary software to run the DVB-T2 functions. Any idea where to source the service manual?
