LE40C750 europe to UK settings ?

Hello
I have Samsung LE40C750 for the last 3 years I have never watched normal TV on it, only satelite. now I want to watch freeview, but it doesn't list the channels in order, I have read and searched over the internet, and sorted all the channels with the applications.
but I am still having problems, Samsung said I need to take it to a service center for them to change the region settings to make it UK. as I don't have UK in the list just European countries and "others" because i am using others, the channel lsit isn't in order.
I have accessed the service menu but I cant find any option to change it so it shows UK. it still only shows the European countries.
I feel ripped of by the company "pixmania" who sold me this tv as a full uk model and as its been over 3 years, I don't feel like I can complain
can anyone guide me to the service menu steps to change this TV to uk region, as the service center want ?50 to look at it then they said possibly it would need a new main board !!! the tv must be only worth ?300 by now, so I don't want to pay ?50 for them to say it needs a uk board,
