Anybody here who owns the evolution kit with an ES8090 and SamyGo working?

Hi Hubert,

I have a ES8000 with EvoKit and it works fine.
And as Samsung stated that the Evokit works with the ES8000 series it should work with your ES8090.

The only thing I had when installing the EvoKit the first time was that the TV did not seems to find it.
So after two attempts (put it off and on again) it works.

Which firmware are you using before installing and after installing the Evoklit?
Did you have SamyGo installed before and do you have to reinstall it after installing the EvoKit?

I just tried to get F series SamyGO working on my E8000 +Evolution kit. I got it installed without any errors, but I could not get FTP access. I did read in some Russian forum that FTP access works only if using wireless, so I tried that and found out that my WiFi doesn't work at all for some reason.

As I understand, you need to use F series SamyGO with Evolution Kit. At this time, only root and FTP access is available.

there was router problems, he got access not only trough wifi but trough cable as well.

try to repeat rooting procedure.

I have tried it many times. I even reset the Smart Hub and TV and tried again. Removed Skype and installed again.
The install files are found on USB. I get OK for step 1 and step 2. But i still don't have FTP access and my Skype still works without any problems. Any suggestions what i could try?

My Evolution Kit has the latest 1005 firmware, so maybe it's blocked there? But would i still get OK when installing if it's blocked?

can be, latest firmware blocks our scripts... possible...

New here, but just to be clear are you saying those of us with a ES8000 and the 2013 Evo kit should use the F series version of Samy Go?

Try F.....but use wifi..... LAN is blocked.
