Hi, everyone.
First of all forgive my english.
Now, i have the model LE46c750 with firmware 3018 and after Samsung updated the Plex (from version 0.987 to 1.005)
the application is not usefull anymore, cause the very very slow navigation. (old hardware. new tricks)
So i unistalled the new version , i downloaded the 0.987 version , and i installed following these instructions:

Now the new app has no icon ,just description (plex),even i wrote in the widgetlist.xml
the title ''plexlight'' but when i go there all works fine.
The problem is that everytime when i go to internet tv, the app (plex) says that is going to be updated ,it 's updating and then all fine.
No icon, but it works in version 0.987.
I unistalled the app, i did a factory reset, reinstall and no change of this behavior.
Anyone knows why this behavior? or how can i do a clean install of this app without this problem and without the fear of a new update of samsung?

Ps. (in plex forums doesn 't talk about downgrading or other way to install because a deal with samsung.They did a awesome work but my old (anymore) tv
cannot handle this)

Solved. I had a mistake,i fixed (widgetlist), but then when i go to internet tv the app says that have to be updated and then delete the app.
Finally i add <type>user<type> in the config file of the app and everything is okay.

Could you share a link with this version (0.987)?

You 'll find in this page .
you 'll have to change the config file with this ..exctract the app change the config.xml and zip again. don t forget to see the size of the new zip file for the widgetlist.xml.
