Hello, new to this scene and to the forums. Not even sure if what I'm talking about falls under the category of legal reverse engineering so please bear with me or delete the post...

Anywho, I've been looking into overclocking my display to provide a true 120hz signal from my HTPC to my Samsung 3D Smart TV and I heard this might be possible to enable this by modifying the TVs firmware since most active 3D TVs have to do 60hz for each eye aka 120hz. Again I'm not sure if I'm in the right place to be asking about this kind of thing the people here seem to be the go to guys/gals when it comes to Samsung TV firmware. If anyone could even point me in the right direction regarding this I would be very grateful. :geek:

I am afraid your TV display doesn't support more than 60mhz no matter how ;)
do not compare it with nVidia technology.
