SamyGo remote

Hello! Can you please help me? 
the remote of my TV is not working (Dead set) and I tried to use the SamyGo Remote using my Samsung celphone and after setting up it able to detect the IP of my TV. When I tried to shutdown my TV or adjust the volume the TV did not response. I tried also to manually restart my TV and after that I still unable to remote my TV.
