B-FIRHT7WWC Patched firmware for HT-E4500 HT-E5500 ....

Currently on the server there is a 1011 version of this firmware.
However this firmware is not patched and as such not bundled with extensions.
So no root access possible.
My ultimate goal here is to make the player region free or at least able to play my zone 1 DVDs.
I have read a little and would like to create a patched firmware but there are a few things that I am not sure about so if some dev could validate/invalidate.
In order to create a patched firmware you need to calculate the hashes after patching and then rebundle (XOR + Aes)
The aes key is known because I have been able to decrypt a firmware.
However what I think is not known is the hash calculation algorithm. From what I understood it is a hardware function only known to samsung. So to calculate the correct hash you need to do it inside the tv/bd. and for that you need root access?
Or is there a widget that could be installed to call the hardware function?
And this is where I am stuck because if you followed me I need patched to get root and need root to get patched...
So unless the hash algorithm is the same on all devices and someone with root access could help me out and calculate the hashes for me on his box. I see no other option than to crack open the box and try to get a console access to get to the Tdm menu and maybe proceed from there...
