Load EPG by second tuner?

Hi,

I'm new on SamyGO and I hope, that I didn't unread an existing thread...

I have a F7000-Samsung TV and I'm very unhappy with the EPG, wich is erased every time I turn on my TV.
So I thought that there would be a script which uses the second tuner of my TV to load the WPG in background?

Is there any possiblitiy? Or do I have to wait until the root is released for the f7000 series?

Thank you!

Brgds,
Thorsten

Hi Thorsten, no script for this issue but it could be possible for one of the talented devs to maybe do something like this. Unfortunately my E-series has no second tuner so if they are able to do so, lucky u :D

Have a look at this thread viewtopic.php?f=67&t=6521

Thank you very much for your replies!

I now tried via smart-view to refresh the epg in background (by manually tuning the channels) and it worked, but in changing the channel the tv stucks a little bit...
