I have recently purchased a UE40F6500 in UK and was supplied with a XZG variant which I understand is for Germany/Austria/Switzerland.
I have changed the region to EU UK and the channels are correct on freeview now. I have no Freeview-HD but that could be I'm using the wrong transmitter as we have two in our area.
Is my TV identical to a UK model now or is there anything else that requires changing.
Is it safe to use a XXU firmware on a XZG model?
I would have thought most euro countries would be identical.

I've had a look in the service menu.



Anyone with a UK F6500 able to show a similar SM screen please?

mine is the same it was a dutch tv that I changed to uk and I cant get HD either if you manage to get it working let me know, I will let you know if I manage to crack it
