screenshot on F-series

Hello,

Is there a way to take screen shots of the F-series TV. I mean static images (not recording video) of anything that is on the display, whether this is menu's, widgets in action etc.

At the moment I am setting up a tripod and taking photos, but it is quite a convoluted method, especially in the face of a smart digital television.

Could there possibly be a back-door key sequence, or an app that allows this?

Hi everyone, new here.

I bought a UE46F6320 (seems to be the same as the 46F6400, only 1 difference & its not drastic) & have been looking on here, but not sure what to do since I want a screenshot feature & there is one for older tvs I think on this forum somewhere.

How easy would it be to take a raw screen cap?

I suppose you can cross-compile any screenshot application for X, like scrot.

Looks good, but I guess it is not easy to install on my F-series?

Ok I know it's been a while, but what is scrot & now do I go about compiling an application?

Actually I should ask what do these take screenshots of? Normal tv or just menus?
