LA32A550P1F - Bricked after successful firmware update

Hi guys,
I was hoping you could give some advice about what I could try to unbrick this set? I updated the firmware to 1013.0 from the Samsung AU site and it completed successfully however, when the message came up that it would reboot in 3 seconds, it turned off and won't turn back on.
When I power it up with a USB flash drive inserted, it creates a 'coredump' file and the timestamp of the file is always progressing a few years at a time. Not sure if this is relevant.
I'm willing to try the unbricking guides in the A Series wiki but I'm not sure if they would work for this particular set.
Many thanks for any help.
