Hello friends,
I am needing some help, I am Brazilian and unfortunately I'm using google translator to help me in the translation.
I have a UN55C6900 TV, I was very ignorant and entered the "hotel mode", and changed the version of TV.A TV just turned off and will not turn over ...
I think I bricked my tv.
I searched here in the forum and the wiki, and found how to make the EPROM on my motherboard.
The motherboard is identical to this

However when doing short Cirquito the component it does not restart.
I realize that even with the screen off, the TV turns on and off and when I type MUTE 1 +8 +2 she enters the "hotel mode" because I can do the factory reset on the TV even with the screen off.
Really wish someone could help me, would not know how to thank this huge favor.
If you need I can take some pictures and make some videos.
graciously
David.

I have no idea about this stuff specifically. You need to hear from juuso on this issue.
I know this is "MAD" idea, but as you are still able to use the remote to access the service menu,
although with a black screen (if I understood you correctly), why don't you just enter the correct TV version again ?
The black screen is a small obstacle, so you would need to visit a TV-store, distract the clerk, and do it on a working TV.
Except you enter the CORRECT version ... And all the time you keep track of every single key-press (note down) from power-on to power-off
Then you go home, and repeat the key-strokes one by one .. very focused, very precise.
There may also be a possibility to replay the needed sequence by using an IR-blaster .. I leave you to research this for yourself.
Lots of stuff on the forum.

use flashlight. seems your backlight is switched off. with help of flashlight you should see what's on tv screen and navigate trough service menu and change back tv version to correct one.

Hello friends, when I read the responses I was so happy that I was running to see if I could but even with the flashlight the tv did not work ....
The Eprom reset would not work in this case?
I can not thank you all kindly .....
If anyone has any solution yet I would greatly appreciate it ... I can even do a thank you via paypal

Maybe its not just a backlight problem then ...
You could look into producing a sequence for IR-Blaster.
It seems that TV still does listen for remote control ..
But you will need to have access to a twin-TV to work
out the exact sequence needed .. and appropriate software
to edit and merge the "soundtrack" for the IR-Blaster.
Its a small project ..
Fast solution: Phone Samsung tech and have stuff replaced .. for a fee.

remove mainboard and check back side. if there are some 8-pad chips, write down labels and post here.
