Hello there,

I reacently bought a BD-F6500 and I was wondering if there is any posibility to use screen mirroring
with my Nexus 7 (2013). Samsung implemented screen sharing but for Samsung products only.

Is there any app or hack some kind of way to get screen sharing working with out purchasing any other hardware?

Thx

You may try "Samsung Smart View", not latest version from playstore but a previous one (e.g. v3.2.0 from xda forum) which works on most Android devices (not only Samsung ones, I'm using it on my Acer)
It already supports dual view but I can't confirm this functionality works since my TV does not support it :)

Did you try in app to go to "Channel" (you have menu choice between remote, gamepad, channel...) and click on blue "i" on the right of a channel? You can see synopsis and there's a "dual view" button at the bottom left (greyed out for me)
Maybe you don't have such "channel" menu since it's not TV but BD-player...

Hi,
Yes indeed if I connect to my TV there is a dual view option. But the option is missing
on my blu-ray player.
Nevertheless my intension was to clone the screen of the tablet onto TV.

Thx for replying

I can't tell you if you want to clone "everything" such as phone menus/apps, but to display media (movies/photos...) from phone to TV you can do it through DLNA by using "BubbleUPNP" apk for example.

edit: phone=tablet ;)
