Godd afternoon everybody,
I hacked my UE32C6700US Led TV a couple of years ago, following the procedure found on SamyGo through a USB stick and T-Valdeuc 3005 my Tv model was changed from C6700 to C6800 and PVR enabled. The process went smooth and it has been working since then.

Starting from last week, the TV does not recognize USB anymore, I get the message "USB is not connected" please verify the connection and try again.
additionally, internet TV is not working and if I try to update the software, I get the Message " MAC Address is invalid, please contact the nearest Samsung Service.

I entered the Service menu and I can see that my firmware has changed now is T-Valdeuc 3015.0 and I believe because of this update the TV is locked , I tried to enter the extended menu but it does not work.

I have read the wiki for C series and I am waiting for a CA-42 cable to build my EXLink cable and connect through the VGA connector and try from that, if I am not wrong, to format -mtd rwarea- nr. 14 for my model and have the TV reboot in order to load the original firmware.

Can anyone confirm if I am on the right way? I would try first this and than eventually replace the main board. :(
If there are already discussions on this issue, please post the links as I went crazy to find information and sorry for my poor english, I am italian and I tried my best to explain.

Many thanks!

134 readings no answers??? Maybe a simple one!!!

My LED TV was hacked via USB with T-Valdeuc 3005.0 in order to enable PVR function, now the TV has T- Valdeuc 3015.0 and I lost
several functions. If I format the -mtd rwarea- will the TV go back on previous FW 3005.0???

You can go to 3005.0 by installing FW0000......after that simply update to 3005.
Formating mtdrwarea will only remove the hack.

Thank you for your answer, the problem is that the USB ports are not working anymore and the only way to connect to the TV is the EXserial cable is it possible to install FW0000 from there?

With the Exlink cable you can format the partition to remove the hack and have working USBs. So, after that you can go to any firmware you like. Do not go with 3018 (there is no way to install 0000 FW after 3018).

have you tried to perform the basic check for working hack with run.ok
maybe with different usb-flashdrives and different fs and partition/no partition style?
perhaps the linux-os in your tv still recognizes your usb and the rest fails in the tv-application, that would be a small chance...

Beatfreak thanks for the answer, could you please explain how to perform the "basic check" or link me to a guide?
I have used different usb-flash drives formatted in different ways but not in ext3, do you think it is helpful?

modify your run.sh to look like the initial version described in http://wiki.samygo.tv/index.php5/Hack_o ... _models%29

and you can put the filesystem either on e.g. /dev/sda (entire drive) or on /dev/sda1 (first primary partition of this drive)
