I cannot find a firmware update for UE46C6500

On the Samsung site that model is not listed.
If I use the find your product option and select...
Television/LED/Model Name (A to Z) there is a dropdown that shows...
UE46C6005RW
UE46C6510UK

So there is nothing between those codes where UE46C6500 should be!

I really do not know since I cannot find it I cannot assess what advantages a new firmware of any version I need for my UE46C6500

It would be interesting to know what changes have been made to the firmware since the TV was first shipped.

i am using version 3011 as it is the latest version with working drm-disable patch (afaik)

Hi,

If you are looking for the UE46C6500 firmware because the "Contact Samsung" option reports that is the Model Code, then it may be worth checking the back of the TV for the actual Model Code. I spent ages looking for a UE46C6500 firmware update since that is what the on screen Model Code was reported as, however on the label on the back of the TV, the Model Code was stated to be UE46C6530UKXXU (awkward to access since the TV is wall mounted).

I've since downloaded the T_VALDEUC-3018.1 firmware update and installed that via a USB stick and that works OK.

Note that the online update for the TV just does not work - It reports an "Invalid Parameter" error, both with the previous firmware that I has (3011.0) and the latest available (3018.1).

This is an old thread, but it kept cropping up on Google as I was searching for clues on updating the firmware. Hopefully some one may still find this update to be useful.

P.S. Just we aware that DOWNgrade is NOT possible on all fw versions
