Need help with firmware

hey guys i have a samsung un55b7000 LED tv and my firmware is 1017, is there a newer firmware for this tv that improves picture quality or other things?. On the samsung website they don't even have 1017, i got it through a message board years ago. on samsung website all they have is 1013. is 1013 better than 1017?. please reply. thanks.

you have to try firmwares and decide by self which is better. None can tell you.

which firmwares are there?. i cant find anyone newer than 1017?.

no idea why. Actually i suggest you forget about firmware changes on that tv to avoid brick danger. Improvement of picture is not garanted, you can get it even worse.
btw, you haven't mentioned firmware name. just number.

the current firmware i have is 2010/01/05_001017
