T-CHL5CIPDEUC cannot handle Firmware updates easily since it couldn't initiate RSA Disabler from content menu..
But you can disable RSA check it via ExLink debug hack. But I think it's not easy thing to do. petergrey make some improvement on it.
Petergrey, could you indicate how to disable RSA Disabler on T-CHL5CIPDEUC?

If you could make it, you can flash-update to your firmware with alternative, hacked one ( via SamyGO Firmware Patcher ) that supports Big & Colorful Subtitles.

I already explain the situation. Since 2008 doesn't have RSA disabler, it's the same problem you will face. Only way to make it, disabling RSA via debug menu...With it you can update your firmware.. Without it, you can't do anything for now..
