PS51F5500 Turns off and on by itself.

My 6 month old PS51F5500 has started to reboot, i.e it turns off and then on by itself. Installed latest 1118 firmware and factory reset the tv and it still does it.
The other day it shut down completely and the red led light was blinking twice constantly. Unplugged it from the wall and it started working again but is still rebooting randomly.
Simple fix or time to claim warranty?

Dosent this sound like an instance of the "substandard capacitors in powersupply circuitry" problem ?

I understand that. It means that he dosent have to solder the capacitors himself,
and thats cool .. But the diagnosis would still be correct, I think

Read on another forum about someone else that was having a similar issue to me. He advised to factory reset the tv and SmartHub, pull the power cord out the back of tv for 10 minutes and then reconnect.
Thought to myself , waste of time, but since i done this yesterday morning the tv hasn't rebooted since. Maybe a coincidence but fingers crossed. I also noticed on the US website that the latest firmware states that it addresses the issue of : Auto turn On/Off. In the UK we are a few weeks behind the USA with firmwares so will keep an eye out for that also.
If the problem comes back i will definately claim the warranty.
