SamyGO

This is SamyGO for Samsung 2013 Evolution Kit (SEK-1000)
For other F series (2013) TV's check [How To] Get root access on F series


I got FTP access on 2013 Evolution Kit (firmware 1007.2)! My theory was correct, the libSkype.so is in different place on the Evolution Kit and that was the (only) problem.

Installation
1. Install Skype widget (if you don't have it installed) and start it.
2. Click Sign in and check Autostart and Sign in automatically (you don't actually need to sign in). Exit Skype and restart TV.
3. Extract the downloaded data.zip "as is" to root of fat32 USB stick (you should have data folder in root of USB stick and two files in it), attach USB stick to TV.
4. Install the attached SamyGO.zip (trough develop account in SmartHub). Easiest way: SmartHub Widget Manager. Don't change SamyGO.zip filename!
5. Start SamyGO widget from Smart Hub > All apps
6. Press Enter. If you get both Step1 and Step2 OK, then hack is installed. Exit SamyGO.
7. Power off and power on TV
8. Check ftp (port 21) and netcat (port 23 or 1023) connections.

If you want to uninstall
Delete SamyGO and Skype apps.

Important
Skype won`t work. This is known bug and here is no choice - either root access or working skype. Waiting for any suggestions ...

This widget allows you to get FTP access to TV. No SamyGO extensions.
Confirmed working on 2013 Evolution Kit with firmware v1007.2 and v1009.4

I don't take any credit for this. I just modified SamyGO so it copies it's files to correct place for 2013 Evolution Kit. If you have any problems, let me know and i will try to help.

No, I have not tried. Been too busy trying to get Netflix v4 app running...

Is this smarthub update exists with the Evo kit? I'm thinking of going with EvoKit just because I'm already piss off of waiting at least 5-10 minutes before samyGO loads (smart hub updates after 2-3 restarts..)

I'm not sure i understand your question. Smart Hub is a lot faster with the Evolution Kit (compared to E series). I have never seen it updating, at some point i just discover that the version number is newer.

You will get what I mean if you use samygo Extenesions. I have samba script and oscam running. When I power the TV all them starts if SmartHub is OK /loaded/. But if it decides to update after power on /it happens really a lot/ you have to wait the update and then you have all scripts loaded. Anyway, update doesn't mean you've got any updates from smarthub. It just start this ghost process update, without doing any improvements/updates. Maybe this is a real crazy bug in ES?!

modules for evokit are missing and thats why you don`t have telnet and other services. Somewhere i saw must be required modules.

do you have netcat connection? Or are you using webshell?
