G'day,

I've searched but no been able to see a relevant answer. The old man's got a UA32C6900 running T-VALDEUC.1011.1, not hacked or rooted in anyway.

Is it possible to set via software so that the headphones don't turn off the internal speakers? There's no line out (aside from digital) so, short of a DAC, it's his only option for using his assistive listening device while the old lady can use the speakers.

AFAIK the switching between headphone and internal speakers is done mechanically at the jack.

even if there were a software-way you would have to root your tv in order to apply this "patch".

So you only two options left would be something like this (plus a chinch to 3.5mm Headphone-jack adapter) or a little bit of soldering on the Mainboard
