New firmware for Samsung TV

New firmware for Samsung TV? I have a new Samsung Pn60E8000 plasma its a great tv.I turned it on today and it had new firmware available pop up when it turned on.Should I do it? My tv is fine and It doesn't say what its for and there is limited info on Samsung Support.Thank you for any help.
