I am new to the forum. I would like to apply the autostart patch to my firmware in TV (UE42B7000), looked in service menu, current firmware is T-CHU7DEUC - 3000.G.

However I can not download firmware from samsung website (http://wiki.samygo.tv/index.php5/Old_%26_Good_Firmwares). Full firmware version:

T-CHU7DEUC - 3000.G
SWU_T-CHU7DEUC_003000_I02_ES000DS000_091111

If anyone has this firmware saved somewhere - please let me know in PM. Looking forward to hearing from you guys. Thanks in advance.

don`t brick your TV

I hope not. I just want to have automatic nfs. Will follow the dummies manual. Is there anything I should be aware of (for example if the nfs server is not available during startup, will tv run?)?

All the scripts executing in background, no problem if server is not available...
I only suggest you to check rs232 to be set to debug in service menu, in case of brick it may save you some nerves (sure if your u-boot is not deleted by samsung.).
