UA46D6003 (SMXRD) - What CPU? (Netflix Related)

Hi there,

I have a UA46D6003 (SMXRD) Purchased here in New Zealand and its current firmware version is the Samsung 1016. There is a Samsung 1024 update but using the online update It says there's no update, and when I use the USB method, it still doesn't recognize the 1024 version on the USB stick.

The reason I want to upgrade the firmware is so that Netflix works, as it currently just sits at connecting for infinity and the only way to get out of it is to power down the TV.

Also, when I go to the properties, it says the Netflix ESN: Not supported.

I was wondering, would SamyGo potentially fix this problem? If so, how do I know what CPU my TV has, as It seems I have two options here: http://download.samygo.tv/D%20Series/

Any help would be much appreciated.

I got Samsung support to send me a USB stick with firmware on it and it worked to update the Samsung firmware but I'm still having problems getting Netflix to work.

Can anyone please confirm what CPU my TV has so I can try SamyGo?

SamyGo will not help you about Netflix. The only solution about you is to ask Netflix support for assistance.

Not sure if you understand, i don't want help directly with netflix, i was asking if the samygo firmware has any reported issues with the Netflix App itself and for someone to be able to confirm what CPU my tv has so I can try it and see for myself?

Disable samygo and start Netflix and you will see.

Not sure it will help you at all with Netflix
