I've read about RCremap and RCremap with CMD support - I'd like to start a certain SmartHub app (Plex) via the remote control or any quicker way than currently.


Is that possible?

You would have to write some script to handle everything but it sounds possible:)

I don't think so, it would require usage of both RCremap with CMD support and SamyGOrc, to automatically send consecutive keys you'd send manually. e.g.:
Open Smarthub->sleep a while->move cursor to needed app->Enter (...)

Oh, that's unfortunate. I thought we had control over calling stuff when rooted, not having to use the actual TV interface.

Yes we have But everything requires coding Nobody asked for such feature so it wasn't coded that's all If you are interested in it just ask and we'll see what can be done Hint: donation speeds up development
