So I'm trying to get a couple of official Apps (like Hulu) back onto my F6270. I've previously got those apps from the very same TV over an FTP connection.

I would like to be able to just push those Apps back to the TV over the "develop" account.

Unfortunately, whenever I try to get the apps installed, I get an installation error message and a link pointing me to this TV Apps Security page:

Any idea why this isn't working?

A patch exists to prevent this security check: AnalFix
Of course root is needed

That's a bummer. When I need root access to apply this patch, then I can just push back the apps over ftp.
