So I have this Canadian version of the Samsung F7100 Smart TV, and have not been able to enter the service menu, following the instructions on the samygo wiki.. and apparently there's isnt a info button on my remote control that is required for entering the service menu.. does that mean there would no way for me to enter the menu myself? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks alot.

Ha... then take another control. Many rc are croscompatible. Use from anoter tv model or series. No other way.

I see. So where can the remote usually be bought from? Are the traditional samsung tv remote that has all the buttons, compatible with the f series?

You can use any smartphone with built in IR. For example samsung galaxy s5. Here are a lot of apps in app store to emulate any samsung rc. Find proper and send required keys.

alright thanks, so I assume the ir blaster that came along does need to plugged in to the tv in advance?
