UE32C4000 All Share / DLNA problem

Hi everyone!

I have the UE32C4000 TV and recently decided to find a way to activate the WIFI and DLNA functions. I searched the forum and found out how to activate WIFI and All Share functions from the Service Menu. I was able to set the wireless network using a Tenda W522U USB wifi adapter and the TV connected successfully to my home wifi.
Now I can see my DLNA server and I can see all the movies and music I have on it but I can not play the files - no matter what extension/type the file is I get one and the same message from the TV - "Not supported file format". I have old SD quality divx movies and a lot of HD content as well as several GBs of mp3 music and every attempt to play any of the files results in "Not supported file format".
If I connect my 1 TB HDD (that is normally connected to the server) directly to the USB port I can play all the files - no problem at all - but the same files can not be played via DLNA (All share).
I checked again the Service Menu and found some options regarding the DLNA Media Play but they are inactive (greyed and OFF) and I do not know how to activate them. Please see the attached picture...

Can someone please help with this issue?
Thanks in advance!

I can only say that it's completely normal that TV supports "more stuff" from USB than from DLNA :)

Yep... You are completely wright - it is normal to support more from USB but my problem is that it suports nothing via DLNA or I just need to do something more as settings in the Service Menu to enable DLNA playback... And here it is where I need help!

did you test pictures/photos? should be the easiest thing to display
have you had a look into advanced service menu (search in forum on how to activate this)
you could think about rooting your tv and share your contents via nfs instead of dlna, this would provide the same compatiility as with usb-connection

kotik: thanks - that is the exact topic I used to enable the DLNA on my TV but the problem is that probably something more has to be done to make it play the files...

beatfreak: thanks for the ideas - I just tried displaying pictures and the result is still the same - Not supported file format...
I am going to search around the forum to find out now to activate the advanced settings in the Service Menu. If someone knows the exact topic for that please share...

Rooting the TV sounds a bit more complicated for my "tweaking" level but if nothing else helps I may go for it...

Just an update of my DLNA problems...

I searched the forum for the advanced service menu activation and found pressing 0000 code when over the advanced position - the menu blinked once but I did not notice any changes - checked again the menus and found no difference - the Media Play setting were still grayed (not active for settings)...
I tried to change the TV model from C4000 to LC630 (following the exact WIKI instructions) but the result was still the same - all file types attempt to play gave "Not supported file format" message.
If anyone knows a way to make the Media Play settings active (from the first post picture) please share...
Still not thinking about rooting the TV...
Thanks for the support!

What dlna server you use? Try Samsung PC share manager.

I am using two different servers - one based on my Win7 laptop and one on my Android mini pc/media player. The android based server is the one I use mostly and it works fine with all devices I have - phones, tablets, blu-ray player etc. Only the C4000 TV does the playback problem - I still believe it's a matter of SM settings...

the most commonly working method for advanced service menu is sending the "3speed" and "factory" keys, as i think that rusamsungtvcommunicator doesn't support your model (your model doesn't support network control) you would have to find a way to generate the IR signals (IR diode at audio output, IR diode at RS232 port and LIRC, prorammable RC)
