Video format with chapters

What video formats can I converters for, and put chapters in which subsequently can be played on my Samsung Smart TV?
Which software can be used and which provides a good quality?

mkv container has chapters but no Samsung TV handles chapters, so the answer is: none

You can convert chapters to files and put them in one folder
Then samsung TV even names them as chapters

With a nice stop/black screen/loading between chapters, definitely friendly

If your chapters have correct "intro/outro" it's even more entertaining
