First post, so might not be asking the right questions. Also I have searched for previous posts which might have covered this, but couldn't find any.

I bought a BD-D8909s from ebay and although it works fine, it won't allow me to select UK as a country, hence many channels are missing and I have no guide other than whats on now and next.

Is there a way to sort this and, probably more usefully, is there a different firmware which would make this function as a UK machine?

Because I am not familiar with Samsung bluray/satelitte/hdd units, I don't know if there is an equivalent with a completely different model number but effectively the same hardware.

Any help would be really appreciated.
