Today, a new firmware 2600.4 came out for many popular H-series models. As always, no changelog. If anyone finds out any differences, fixes, or maybe root working or not working anymore, please post about it!

Maybe some internal changes, bug fixes... no UI changes as i read on another forum.
Strange though, the number of the firmware jumped from 2130 to 2600 (I have a H7000 model).

Samsung normally never changes the UI in an update. Only internal stuff. Reports so far are that Netflix is fixed, but there is one user who can't get Dolby Digital audio over optical out to his receiver anymore, it only sends PCM now.

So, perhaps business as usual, some things are fixed, other things might get worse...

There seems to be confirmation from several people about a new bug concerning the audio output. No Dolby Digital goes out anymore over digital audio out or over HDMI with ARC, only PCM.

If you use external sound solutions, avoid this new firmware. Again, we have to wait for Samsung to provide a fixed firmware for newly introduced bugs in a fixed firmware...

It's NOT the bug. Samsung has always limited audio output

It used to work IN THE PAST. Now Samsung "fixed it" and it will not work anymore
