No, there isn`t any safe methods left. If You want back to 2005, You have to flash manualy. Manual flashing is very dangerous, but a lot of people (me too) have done it with success... 
If you decide to do it, read carefully this topic, here on the first post is manual step by step. I recommend before you start - read whole topic - you find all possible problems and solutions to make well and don`t brick Your TV.
Hint: at first You need working telnet access to TV.
