First installation step by step

Hey all,
It might sound as a dumb question but I can't find a step by step guide for installing samygo on my F6770. I am interested in one of the latest apps to enable 5.1 passthrough on optical.
I'm also on one of the latest firmware versions natively so I'm afraid samygo will be not an option for me...
Hopefully someone can answer with a link to a detailed guide.
