I live in French New-Caledonia (22 000 kms from Paris).
TV models shipped in my country are obsolete.

I'm an user of UE50EH5300 model with T-MST10PDEUC-1026.1 fw.

I already disabled firmware updates, and I stopped here.
I would like to delete some default apps on the main page of Smart Hub, like Social TV, FB, Twitter and more.

Before joining the donor group, I would like to know if my TV model could be rooted with SamyGo.

Someone can give me information ?

First, if there's 22000km from Paris to Noum?a, go through other side of Earth, there will be only 18000

Anyway, you don't need to donate to root your current TV/fw, just follow that procedure: viewtopic.php?f=49&t=5797
About disabling useless Smarthub apps, it's everything but obvious. If you simply "delete" them, they will always come back. Solution is to setup your own server to cheat apps retrieving. IIRC there's some half-finished tutorial somewhere in forum, but better forget it IMHO.
At least you can root your TV and already enjoy dozens life-facilitating patches you might find there
