hi,
i just tried to disable otn-support.
Firmware: T-MST14DEUC-2730.0

But walking to Control -> SubOption -> Option_SWU only gives me
- OTN Server Type (operating, developing) -> operating
- OTN Test Server -> off
- SWU Reset
- SWU Duration -> off
- SWU Fail Test -> off

What do I need to do? other ways of disabling described on the links in this forum didn't show valid options either...?
edit: solved... oversaw "option" and started to look at control... OTN Support now set to off.

Anyway: Is it possible to get root for this TV? If so I will donate ASAP!

can you - guarantee is the wrong word... - estimate how long it will take? not exactly, but round about? days, weeks, months, years?

I don't want to spoil the fun but I can tell it will NOT take years

that was more or less obvious. I impute you wouldn't be able to do it if you weren't able within the next months...
Would have been nice to get your estimation - do you think you are near the goal or is it still far away?

ok, that means it does work? great. i will donate asap.

fine, i have donated and have now access to the necessary files. what i don't understand: all files are from before 08/2015. But why was it not possible some weeks ago?
