you need to downgrade your firmware so a 2005 / 2006 Version number, depending on the exact model you have (to be supported by samygo)

and then use the samygopvr "plugin" found in this forum to enable the PVR functionality hidden in the older

It works, but if you read, it takes about 1 minute. Reboot TV, run Activate alternative fw menu, wait and after this check.

did you upgrade your TV to latest firmware and there was an earlier firmware on it, or did you buy TV with only latest fw installed?

If you bought with the latest fw, this method do not work for you You needed to flash manualy.
If you have had an earlier fw before, this method should work. You need to have only /telnet-enabler/ folder and subfolders, no more files on USB.

Here is another way... copy samygoPVR folder as subfolder to /telnet-enabler/ and copy all to TV memory. You be able run from TV memory/CHILDREN
You can run all extensions in this way on the latest firmware w/o reverting back to the earlier fw.
