UE46D6500VSXXN rebooting random

Hi all,

Just got a UE46D6500VSXXN from someone that I can have if I can fix it.
The problem started when the owner, my ex-colleague, got home one night and the tv was on and rebooting all the time. It was never attached to any network.
If I can access the service menu I see RFS genoa.s 1014 2011-09-28 so I guess that old firmware ... which makes me believe nothing happened like for example a software upgrade.

Ok, what happens : You see it startup .... can access stuff for x-time (like 30 sec or so) and will then freeze up (screen image freezes) ... remote doesn't work etc .... then after x-seconds it reboots. This goes on and on.

If I also have the chance to get in the service menu I see exactly the same as this one http://www.hifi-forum.de/bild/d6500_163424.html
So panel auto setting shows : failure .... is this maybe the issue?????
When I can get it to boot and show the test picture it looks absolutely nice, so if it where the panel or tcon it would surprise me

I have googled like crazy but .... . Now I am an electronic engineer whom now works in the IT. TV's have evolved since the 90's it seems.
Are there schematics of the power supply of that thing? Not that I think it is a power issue but more motherboard related. (SSB as my ex-colleague called it)

Also if it is the mainboard can I swap it for another type, meaning from a different country? The one that is inside is BN94-05035S
