It's about "case" of TV... 55x indicates real model xx1 indicates the case... Nothing normal.

That strings has a meaning but I don't know exactly. You can search from the internet. Some other members knows about them. Might be they tell the difference. You might find some information at our forum too. I think there is also some info at Samsungs web page...
