PVR - a way to specify recording "handles"?
I love using my D7000 series TV with CI+ cable TV card to record TV, unscrambled thanks to SamyGO, then get the file back through LAN and watch the programmes on my iPad when on the move. However, maybe because of our stupid TV channels that never manage to follow their schedule precisely, I very of...

Re: NFS shares - subfolders not accessible
I have the same problem but with Samba. If I put videos in the root of my mounted drive (smb/ip_of_share/name_of_share) I can read them. If I put in one subfolder it's OK too but only sometimes, one more level gets me a "Cannot read the folder." error. It's not a permission problem, as if ...

Re: frame around Samsung 40D6510
Cool! I was tempted to remove the frame on my 40D7080, but haven't gotten to it yet - having just a 4mm frame is tempting

Re: D series rooting (arm cpu architecture only) UPDATE!
i personly recoment always 1 TB and more HDD, mounted to SamyGO Viritual USB device , with updated game.so, you can record direct to the HDD, without to copy/move the recordings around Yep well, everybody has it's own way of doing things - personally I'll record on the TV, then move to PC, remove a...

Re: D series rooting (arm cpu architecture only) UPDATE!
Hmm I did a test and can answer my own question. So, recording will stop with an error if the 4GB file size limit is hit on a FAT32 drive. That's only 39mins of 720p HD. Means I can't use FAT32 like I wanted. I'll just continue to access my hard drive through the network to transfer recordings inste...

Re: Playing 3D content not possible - PC input
Frame rate : 47.952 fps I think that's the problem, the file was incorrectly encoded, for some reason the person who did it used a framerate that's double of what it should be, which is stupid... and current embedded devices usually can't decode more than 30fps in 1920x1080 resolution. If i try to ...

Re: D series rooting (arm cpu architecture only) UPDATE!
Question, if I try to record to a FAT32 device, what happens when recorded file size exceeds 4GB? Is the file automatically split, or does recording just crash?? With an HD source, that's only half an hour or so...

Re: Playing 3D content not possible - PC input
You can't play back 3D content through VGA. You have to connect your PC using DVI/HDMI.

Re: Why is some options in TV menu grayd out?
It all depends what source and mode you're using. For example Game mode disables some options to speed up processing, PC mode disables even more as you're supposed to want the most neutral picture for PC. For example in the 40D7000 in PC mode backlight dimming is completely disabled. So Shadow Detai...
