Re: Can I disable OTN-Support with my F-Series Samsung comin

@Patrioter: Before messing with the IR adapter, you should try to find OTN support in the normal service menu. As I said, on my F series I didn't need to enable extended service menu to disable OTN updates. Regarding the IR adapter: I don't think this will work. The adapter is just single channel (m...

Re: Can I disable OTN-Support with my F-Series Samsung comin

Did you check in service menu if you can't already find OTN support option without unlocking extended menu? It has been noticed that on many (most? all?) MST models (E,F,H) there's no need to access it to disable updates. I know that's not what says wiki :D , possibly check in "normal" service menu...

Re: Ported: ChannelInfo App for D series

Thx, any chance to avoid the switch to SmartHub after ticker autostart is finished? Is there anything wrong I'm doing or is this common behaviour? Unfortunately this is normal behaviour... I don't like this too - so I am working on an alternative autostart procedure (without SmartHub involved). But...

Re: Download Widgets

You have to use SamyGO for ftp access in order to backup and restore your widgets. If you can't (or don't want to) use SamyGO, get the download URL for each widget you want to install. Then setup an own develop server (as described in the official Samsung SDK documentation) with a list of all the wi...

Re: Download Widgets

Does Samsung allow to download only one widget App list from Develop Account? Yes, that's normal behaviour. If you synchonize with a development server all previously installed user apps (only the USER apps) are deleted. Make a backup of your user apps via ftp before synchonising with another devel...

Re: Ported: ChannelInfo App for D series

OK, after some research I understand what you mean by 'widgetlist'... I haven't read all pages of the rooting thread - so I didn't know that there are other widgets installed when loading SamyGO from the server... (at the time I've installed SamyGO there was only one widget) Someone should update th...

Re: Ported: ChannelInfo App for D series

OK, got it... sometimes it's just so easy... ;) Using a modified lua start script from SamyGO, the ChannelInfo app can be started without loading SamyGO first. Autostart is also possible by enabling Ticker-Autostart for ChannelInfo (in SmartHub press the blue button [D], go to Service Manager and se...

Re: Ported: ChannelInfo App for D series

the part is removed by main samygo app launcher ^^ Is this part of SamyGO open source? Actually I don't want to start SamyGO every time I use my TV - at the moment I don't need the features SamyGO provides (except root access when I am playing with own software or exploring the system). So I'd like...

Re: Programinformation after changing channel

Hi,

read the "ChannelInfo" thread in the "[D] Software" subforum I've just posted (unfortunately I can't post a direct link - but it's easy to find). There's what you want.
You have to try if it works with your firmware...
