Re: How to update after patched firmware
I have installed the SamyGo 1116 firmware long ago on my HT-D6750W and everything still works as it should. But lately the box pops up a message that there is an update available. This means that Samsung probably have passed the version number 1116 in their firmware revisions. I have no idea what im...

Re: HT-D4550 Cinavia
just a thought.. if you have an android phone, you could try connecting to a 3G service with the phone and activate the teethering (use your phone as a wifi router) and then set up your BD player to connect via your phone.

Re: HT-D4550 Cinavia
Downgrading is not possible. But offcourse if someone could hack that old firmware it theoreticly is possible. But that requires someone to find the way to do that, and so far I dont think anyone have been able to hack old firmware to apear as new and make it possible to update from USB. Surly they ...

Re: Netflix on HT-D6750W?
I just discovered that there currently is no way to select audio or subtitles on this version of Netflix. It turns out that some BD players/HT units simply doesnt have this feature There is a list at netflix that shows which features that are supported on some different units. https://support.netfli...

Re: HT-D4550 Cinavia
I see several others in this forum reported the 800 error. Sadly it looks like these players are not supported. But you should check the dns for sure its set to 149.154.159.134 both on your router and your BD player. Also there might be a slight chance that the dns server is down when you tried, so ...

Solved: Netflix on HT-D6750W
It turned out to be even easier to get it working than I imagined. Here is a short guide on how to get netflix (US version) working on HT-D6750W in regions that doesnt normally support it. In my case norway, but it probablt will work from other contries and on other BD players/samsung units. - First...

Re: Samsung HT-D6750W Questions before Firmware Attempt
Its actually not a downgrade process, since the Samygo firmware is based on 1016. They have labeled it 1116, this is I think to make sure it will be detected as a higher version so that the BD player will accept it as an upgrade. You do this in steps, and the first steps are safe enaugh I think. 1st...

Re: Netflix on HT-D6750W?
I did read a guide about setting up my router with some specific dns adresses, and that could probably work. However this would make all my devices on my network to be via these dns's. Including my daughters tablet which I dont want to connect that way. Redirecting via a pc would work, but the downs...

Re: Netflix on HT-D6750W?
I did figure out how to install the netflix app. This was easy, just go to smart hub, press the following on the remote: FF, 2, 8, 9, RW and then select USA as country. Then the betflix app is available to install. But when launching netflix, it will come up with a message at the login screen. Netfl...

Re: Samsung HT-D6750W Questions before Firmware Attempt
If your HT-D6750W never was upgraded, it probably doesnt have any cinavia protection enabled. They included the cinavia protection in one of their updates. I think the 1012 firmware was ok, but the later versions had cinavia. To remove the cinavia protection, you must upgrade to SamyGo firmware usin...
