It seems to work, i now have a Samy.log (quite a few errors in it http://pastebin.com/Tcc6Q6GW) file on the USB-Stick. I think i need to do some more reading how stuff works.

hello, i tried this and changed the dns. my tv found an online update (same version as already installed) which i executed. afaik it should now be rooted and execute run.sh from any attached usb-stick, but that doesn't happen. is there any way i can validate that the rooted firmware is installed? tia!
