I have had my Sony Google TV box for about a year and love it, but my roommate has a media PC with Ubuntu on it. It seems to be a lot better with streaming media over the network and browsing Internet and whatnot. It got me wondering if anybody has ever tried to flash some other types of Linux on it...

Don't get me wrong its a good Tele but a line appeared across the screen after a few months and its so distracting i am taking it back to the shop today. This shouldn't happen to a television after a few months of purchase.
