Disable Firmware Updates
I recently bought a UE50TU8002K as an update for my fading LE37C670. I found out that avoiding firmware updates requires blocking DNS osb-v2.samsungqbe.com. Others mentioned in different posts didn't seem to be sufficient. A couple of other addresses that I thought might be related to updates are tv...

Re: [Tutorial] Debugging (with breakpoints) on C series
Yes! Thanks! I ran continue and exeDSP became resposive! However, afterwards, the gdb prompt didn't reappear. I take it that only one of gdb or exeDSP runs at a time. Although, I'm getting messages from gdb about threads starting and exiting. You're right that I don't have much experience with gdb, ...

Re: [Tutorial] Debugging (with breakpoints) on C series
Wow, this is exciting! I've tried to get gdb working, but never got very far. In order to try out your version of gdb, I thought I'd try to make a patch to allow media playback from an xfs format usb drive. However, I'm having some problems. Would you let me know if you can see problems with what I'...

Re: [App] SamyGO PVRAnyDev E/F Series
Hi, I have a C series, and, I understand that this app is only for E/F, but, the Injectso table lists C series as not needing this hack: http://wiki.samygo.tv/index.php5?title=Injectso_patches Is there some other way to record to any device on C? I'd like to record to an ext3 stick, but the TV insis...

Re: Playback from XFS
Yes, I know the "IsMediaSource" I quoted isn't the right check. But, it seems like the right check might be similar. I looked at any mention of "IsMediaSource" I could find, but no luck so far. Also, it seems like classes CMBPBrowserAppBase or CMBPVideoBrowser is involved, or pos...

Playback from XFS
Hi Denny, I'd like to ask you about something you may have seen in your super work with PVR. I think a very interesting feature would be to make it possible to play from directories mounted to an XFS partition. That way, SamyGO, PVR, and playback would all be on a single USB partition, and the need ...

Re: D series rooting (arm cpu architecture only) UPDATE 2 !
Hi Denny, This is great stuff! Is there any chance pvr stuff (record to fat, extra timeshift time) would work for C series? Where is that stuff hiding? Is it in game.so? If so, could I see how it works? Where can I look? edit: The reason why I ask is that I currently have two partitions, one is ext3...

Re: T-VALDEUC 3011.0
Well, I ran across another damaged ts file, and 3011.0 freezes on it just like 3005.1 does. I guess I should have stayed with 3005.1, and saved myself a big hassle.
