I have a headphone jack that says ex-link. It was hacked with a patched firmware to run samygo on startup and i also installed hack widget.

ok will do. I set it to debug and brought the best cable. Im waiting on a ca-42 and i will try that. will give results, should have monday.

Did not do anything in console or in service menu. Plug in usb with samygo on it and tv went off and came back on and went black.

I have patched firmware firmware 1032 that run samygo when tv start. It worked fine for a week and now i have a blank screen and the light flashes 6 times. Have a 3.5 mm jack on back of tv labeled ex-link. Have a ftdi ex-link cable but i dont get any output from tv. already swapped rx and tx as said...

Don't think TTL module on board. When I hook up windows can't find driver for it.

I have a UN46C6500 and it has a 3.5 mm jack that says exlink. Is this the port i use for a ex link cable or do go through vga port.

I can confirm this works on UN46C6500 -VALAUSC 1035
Downgraded to 1032 and widget hack works now.
