Re: Rooting UE50H6400

IMG_20150801_150215.jpg Hey guys, I got my ue55h6400 in sales and and asked specifically for a unboxed model (without) the latest firmware. I've been in the business for a couple of years so I know a closed box doesn't mean a lot. That's why I'm a bit concerned about the firmware on my TV. If my in...

Re: CEC Anynet+ H5070

No idea but be very careful when using the service menu. Maybe a firmware update could solve the issue?

Re: Rooting UE50H6400

Hi,

I'm also thinking of buying this type. Would you recommend it based on your experiences?

Does disabling the firmware update void the warranty?

Thanks in advance!

Re: Bricked UE40C6820USXXN

Hey hackers and brickers, I finally found it. This is how I managed to unbrick it: Finding the EEPROM : As mentioned on UnBricking_TV_by_EEPROM_Reset the EEPRON number should start with 24256 or 24512. This model didn't, but it started with 4256. Also, this chip is upside down. This is the EEPROM. h...

Re: Bricked UE40C6820USXXN

So, I did the EEPROM reset thing, but it didn't work... Was the exact same thing as factory reset. I took the UAxxC6200 as reference: http://wiki.samygo.tv/index.php5/UnBricking_TV_by_EEPROM_Reset Look's quite the same... http://wiki.samygo.tv/images/thumb/d/d5/UA40C6200_full.jpg/450px-UA40C6200_ful...

Ok, thanks a lot. I'm going to look up the settings in another TV. When I have a picture of every setting I'll post it here.

Re: Bricked UE40C6820USXXN

Firmware update won`t fix this issue. Eeprom reset... after this you will be forced to input proper type, color, tuner - data what you dont know now. But worth to try, i don`t remember users have had any problem with picture flip after this procedure. Best what could happen - anyone with same TV mo...

https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-zgp_tgF7gwY/UX-cm7vVgfI/AAAAAAAAAE0/P81z2cbZTOY/w1315-h788/IMAG1031.jpg I'm thinking about resetting the EEPROM. Also there is a firmware update available. Should i try to fix it with it, or doesn't that change the service menu settings? The only thing i've done a...
