Re: Rebooting tv after X minutes
Thanks for your answer juuso. I opened up my TV today to check the capacitors but they seem to be intact (perhaps 1 that might be bulging a little bit). Is it possible in any way to do a full clean of the firmware installed? E.g. reverting back to original purchase date firmware? I'd like to fully r...

Re: Rebooting tv after X minutes
Wow, I noticed your reply today (3 months after...). I was thinking of scrapping the TV but it bugs me that it still works somehow. There must be something I can do? Anyway, to answer your question juuso: yes, it should be off. I have attached photos of my service menus and the initial screen. I fin...

Re: Rebooting tv after X minutes
The TV rebooted literally just now. According to the log nothing changed. I don't think the log actually captures what happens when it shuts down like that.
I also noticed it did not click before shut down, only after when it boots up again (which I believe is normal behaviour for this TV?).

Re: Rebooting tv after X minutes
I now wanted to reproduce the error as in step 2 above so I plugged in the TV again and plugged in the power to the android device. It now works, e.g. I can see the android device up and running on HDMI3. The log so far (it hasn't rebooted yet) is: [ERROR][locArsenal_Read2IIC():451] /home/bnlee/CHL_...

Re: Rebooting tv after X minutes
Ok since the TV all of a sudden decided to stay awake I thought I'd reproduce a real life scenario; 1. I own an MK808 android hdmi usb-powered device which I plugged in via HDMI. 2. As soon as I plugged in the usb-power adapter to this MK808 the TV rebooted (and clicked). This was followed by the ty...

Re: Rebooting tv after X minutes
right now I'm waiting for the reboot to appear. I'm starting to suspect that it might be a heat issue since it takes longer than normal (usually when I have noticed this is after I've used DLNA for 20 minutes and then it reboots. I then unplug the cord and restart it. And after that it shuts down ev...
